Dabble is a location based app that was just released, and while it looks like an interesting and entertaining idea, it’s not the actual app itself that’s making news. Rather, it’s the creator and his company behind the app that has a lot of people talking.

What makes Dabble so intriguing beyond its functionality is that it was created by Daemonic Labs, which is a startup development company co-founded by Santosh Jayaram. If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because Jayaram is a former VP of Business Operations at Twitter, as well as a team manager for Search Quality Operations at Google. His name has floated around the tech industry for awhile now, and it appears he’s starting to dabble (pun intended) in the app development world.

Dabble let’s you share a photo of an event you were a part of that is tagged to a specific location. Using the app, you create what are considered “virtual postcards” at a place of interest and then you virtually drop them right where you took them, leaving them for other users to happen upon and see. You could be at the park, a concert, a restaurant, it doesn’t matter as long as…(More)

My Brush boasts a heavy load of different types of brushes to work with, and all are free, unlike popular painting app Paper, which has mostly brushes via in app purchase. While we can’t speak to any other comparisons between the two apps, My Brush offers plenty of features to work with, no matter your skill level. One thing that’s really neat is the “playback” feature, which allows you to revert your work back to a previously saved one and edit from there. With various high quality brushes to choose from, easy to use tools, and a gesture based interface, My Brush holds its own.

Today we have a special treat of a free app for you. It’s called Paper Monsters, and if it sounds familiar at all, that’s because I did a thorough review on it not too long ago. Well the game is still as awesome as it was then, except now it’s even more awesome because it’s currently free for a limited time!

Paper Monsters is the kind of platform game that stands head and shoulders above the rest, with amazing graphics that show the attention to detail, excellent animation and physics, and just a cute all around story. Everything in this world is made out of paper, and the artist’s work shines through as you make your way through the various levels, attempting to achieve as many bonuses and power ups as possible. It also contains a unique soundtrack that will keep your head bobbing throughout, as well.

Burn The City

Burn The City is all about destruction. You control a dragon on a rampage, and it uses its fire breathing skills to his advantage to cause as much chaos as possible. The controls are simple: just touch, drag, and release for your dragon to set loose a cannon shot of a fireball from his mouth. It works in an Angry Birds kind of way, using physics and obstacles to your advantage to cause the destruction. The graphics are wonderful, and the animation and physics play quite smoothly.
