If you’re like me, you’re always looking for a way to streamline whatever your work or creative process might be in an attempt to be as productive as possible. Given that a lot of people take this approach, it’s no surprise the “get things done” apps are a dime a dozen in the App Store, yet today’s free app for the iPhone stands out.

It’s called Schedule Planner Pro, and it’s a wonderful scheduling and task app that’s as powerful as it is sleek. With Schedule Planner Pro, you can plan out your activities/tasks by category and priority, integrate with your Google and/or iOS calendar, preset task categories by focus (works, meals, health, etc.), and so much more. There’s really hardly any limit to what you can do with this app, and it’s all wrapped in an easy to understand and navigate interface that is gorgeous and slick.

Ready Steady Bang is a quick-fire dueling game with style and a little bit of addictiveness. You can play face to face with a friend on one screen while in 2 player mode, or you can play against one of the game’s 10 AI opponents in a battle to see who has the fastest draw in the west. All you have to do is tap the trigger with your finger before anyone else does, and then the duel is over. It’s a very simple game, but addicting and fun in its nature. Even with sparse graphics, all you really gets the stick figure cowboy, is a well designed and beautiful app.

Pocket Ninjas

Pocket Ninjas Universal (Optimized for both the iPad and iPhone) (4.5 stars with 4457 Ratings)

The game is all about you protecting your dojo from wave after wave of enemies. Your objective is to slice through them with speed and agility, all the while dodging sharp and dangerous weapons like shurikens, and even…sushi? The game is highly entertaining, if not also pretty graphic, so while it might not be for everyone of every age, it is still an excellent app. The graphics and color schemes pop, and animation was smooth without any glitches in my experience. The touch controls are simple; all you have to do is swipe at the oncoming enemies or people.

Blockolicious is all about grouping squares together by color on a grid layout. Once you match three or more colors together while they’re touching, the blocks will pop and turn into juice boxes. Pop the juice moves and your point total will soar. Like all color match games, you want to create the largest combinations of colors as possible for more points. The game takes a bit of strategy, but can still be simple enough for anyone of any age to play. Enjoy smooth graphics and smile-enducing animation and this game will soon be a favorite.
