It’s all a part of Tiny Place’s allure as a game for the iPhone, and it’s tons of fun. Tiny Places is a strategy based game that pits you against a number of puzzles to achieve a specific outcome: getting Napoleon from one place to another. Use his long and stretchy tongue to stick to particular places and then watch as Napoleon jumps and flips his way to his destination. Avoid nasty obstacles and try to munch on as many star flies as possible to increase your score.

Ninjaku Training starts you out at the beginning of your ninja training, because before you can walk, you must first learn how to kill. Or is it crawl? Anyway, this physics based puzzle game has a series of tasks for you to complete at the dojo while on your way to ninja masterhood: portals, time travel, clouds, and so much more; it’s all there and waiting for you to master. The graphics are silly, in a good way, and fun, and the controls are pretty simple and straightforward.

Ka-Bloom

The objective of Ka-Bloom is that you have to feed a flower-like creature, call the Floret, once it’s woken up from its sleep, but it’s not that simple. The puzzle based objectives require you to use touch based controls to create a never-ending string of chains of combinations of edible items for Floret. With 56 levels of action, and 3 star ratings to be had if you proceed well enough, Ka-Bloom will suck you right in if you’re not careful. The graphics are ridiculously good and the visuals are full of color and life.

Space Op!

Space Op! Universal (Optimized for both the iPad and iPhone) (3 stars with 22 Ratings)
$0.99 → Free

The world is coming to an end, but it doesn’t have to be that way if you can do anything about it. You play a troubled ex-space captain who is tasked with the objective to save the planet. Take to the skies in high octane arcade shooter action while attempting to stop the downfall of man. There are 50 levels with missions galore that you’ll have to complete, and all with your outsized and outclassed ship and the brain in your head. Grab some upgrades along the way and you just might make it.
