Chrome iOS Browser Now Supports Facebook, Twitter sharing
Chrome has been available on your iPad and iPhone for quite awhile now, but just today Google released an update many might have been waiting for… Now you can enjoy all the benefits of browsing with Chrome , complete with the option to share pages on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
Seeing as this option is pretty standard for mobile browsers, it’s a good thing Google didn’t wait any longer before adding it to Chrome. Great browsing speeds, synced tabs, and a clean interface may not have retained users in the absence of social integration. But this first update takes care of that, and we’d be hard-pressed to find a reason why Chrome SHOULDN’T be your default iOS browser at this point.
Along with the new social sharing features, the update addressed some bugs and aims to improve the app’s overall security and stability… In case you haven’t checked out Chrome since it was made available back in June, you’re missing out on a solid offering from Google. It will be interesting to see how long they leave things as they are, or if they push beyond the shared passwords, bookmarks, histories, etc. that are currently unifying the Chrome browsing experience across platforms.
